Telugu Velugu Germany (TVG) e.V. – a non-profit organisation of people of Telugu origin residing in Germany, registered on the 29th of May 2006, is the first registered Telugu (Indian) association in the whole of Germany.
The mission of the association is to integrate and strengthen our bonds forging new friendships across all communities, cultures and borders. The association is also dedicated to create a home far from our motherland and in the process retain our cultural roots and traditions.
TVG e.V. has been actively striving to serve and facilitate the Telugu community in Germany and through a brotherly association make their living content and blissful.
Telugu, the official language of Andhra Pradesh, was described by C.P.Brown as the “Italian of the East”. The people come from Andhrapradesh are widely known as Telugu people. Telugu people are also known as Dravidians or Andhras.
Andhra Pradesh is the fifth largest State formed on 1st November 1956 with an area of 276, 754 sq. km., accounting for 8.4% of India’s territory.
